2014 Moto3 Season
The 2014 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 66th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Maverick Viñales was the reigning series champion, but did not contest the season as he moved to the series' intermediate class, Moto2. The riders' championship was not settled until the final round of the season, and was won by Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider Álex Márquez, the brother of 125cc champion Marc Márquez; as a result, the Márquez brothers became the first siblings to each win a Grand Prix motorcycle racing title. Márquez – a three-time race winner – prevailed after a third-place finish in Valencia, which was good enough to give him the title by two points over Jack Miller, who won the race. The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM; en, International Motorcycling Federation) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 116 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six regional continental unions. Qatar Motorcycle Grand Prix
The Qatar motorcycle Grand Prix ( ar, جائزة قطر الكبرى للدراجات النارية) is a motorcycling event that is part of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. The Losail race track in Qatar represents the debut race of each MotoGP season. In 2008, the track held the first night event in MotoGP history. The 2008 night event, aside from drawing boosted viewing which also coincided with the race being moved to the opening spot on the calendar, was initiated with the intent of increasing equipment performance: the day-time heat in Qatar has been hazardous to the conditions of tires and expensive, customized parts on the multimillion-dollar motorcycles. Rider safety notwithstanding, the extreme heat could be a critical variable contributing to defeat. Qatar's Grand Prix is the only event in the entire MotoGP calendar to be held at night. Autódromo Brasília BRB is a racing circuit in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. It is in length and hosts a variety of national-level series including Stock Car Brasil, Formula Truck and Formula 3 Brasil. Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo is a motorsport circuit located in Termas de Río Hondo, Argentina. The circuit was opened in 2008 and underwent a complete overhaul and rebuild process in 2012, based on design by the Italian circuit designer . The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is a motorcycle racing series contested by young, up-and-coming motorcycle riders, who have not had experience in a motorcycle grand prix previously. The class was founded in 2007, and since then a number of the rookies have progressed through to the 125cc/Moto3 championship in MotoGP. Enea Bastianini (born 30 December 1997), nicknamed "La Bestia" (The Beast), is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, riding for Ducati Lenovo Team in the MotoGP class. 2014 Czech Republic Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2014 Czech Republic motorcycle Grand Prix was the eleventh round of the 2014 MotoGP season. It was held at the Masaryk Circuit in Brno on 17 August 2014.
