The 2013–14 ACB season is the 31st season of the Spanish basketball league Liga ACB, also called Liga Endesa in its sponsored identity. The regular season began on October 12, 2013, and ended on May 25, 2014. The playoffs began on May 29, 2014 and ended on June 26, 2014. FC Barcelona won their 18th league title. Basket Zaragoza 2002 S.A.D., more commonly referred to as Basket Zaragoza and as Casademont Zaragoza for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball club based in Zaragoza, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB. Their home arena is the Pabellón Príncipe Felipe. History Basket Zaragoza was founded in 2002 with the aim of giving the city of Zaragoza back to the Spanish basketball elite league, after old CB Zaragoza left the Liga ACB on 1996. It started playing on LEB, after taking the place belonging to CB Coruña. CAI Zaragoza spent five hard years on LEB league before reaching Liga ACB for the first time. UCAM Universidad Católica de Murcia Club de Baloncesto, S.A.D., more commonly referred to as UCAM Murcia, is a professional basketball team based in Murcia, Spain. It plays their home games at Palacio de Deportes. History Founded in 1985 under the name Agrupación Deportiva Júver, Murcia agreed with a Madrid-based club, Logos de Madrid, to buy out its rights to play in the Spanish second division. Real Betis Baloncesto S.A.D., simply known as Real Betis, is a professional basketball team based in Seville, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB. It plays its home games at San Pablo.
