The 2013 Seattle Sounders FC season was the club's fifth season in Major League Soccer, the United States' top-tier of professional soccer. For the Sounders FC organization, it was their fifth year of existence, and including all previous clubs, it was the 33rd season of soccer in Seattle. Seattle Sounders Football Club is an American professional men's soccer club based in Seattle. The Sounders compete as a member of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). The club was established on November 13, 2007, and began play in 2009 as an MLS expansion team. The Sounders are a phoenix club, carrying the same name as the original Sounders franchise that competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1974 to 1983. The club's majority owner is Adrian Hanauer, and its minority owners are the estate of Paul Allen, Drew Carey, and 14 families from the Seattle area. Former USL Sounders coach and assistant coach Brian Schmetzer took over as head coach in July 2016 after the departure of Sigi Schmid. Lamar Neagle (born May 7, 1987) is an American professional Association football, soccer player who plays for the Tacoma Stars in the Major Arena Soccer League. He has spent most of his career with the Seattle Sounders FC of Major League Soccer over the course of several stints; Neagle has also played for Montreal Impact (MLS), Montreal Impact and D.C. Sound FC is an American soccer team based in Tacoma, Washington. Founded in 2006, the team most recently played in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. DeAndre Yedlin
DeAndre Roselle Yedlin (born July 9, 1993) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Major League Soccer club Inter Miami and the United States national team. Primarily a right-back, he has also featured as a right wing-back and wide midfielder. Youth, college, and amateur Yedlin was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Jeff Parke
Jeff Parke (born March 23, 1982) is an American former soccer player. He played 11 seasons in Major League Soccer, appearing in over 250 matches. Youth Parke played for powerhouse youth club FC Delco. He then played four years of college soccer at Drexel University. Professional New York Parke was drafted by the MetroStars with 60th and last overall pick of the 2004 MLS SuperDraft. Andrew Weber (born August 9, 1983) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Sporting Arizona FC. Career Youth and College Weber played college soccer at the University of New Mexico where he holds UNM's career records for games played (83), minutes played (7,681), goalie wins (50), saves (350), and shutouts (25). He also played with the Cape Cod Crusaders and the Indiana Invaders in the USL Premier Development League, and was part of the squad which won the 2003 PDL title. Mike Seamon (August 30, 1988 in Rahway, New Jersey) is an American soccer player. Career College Seamon was born in New Jersey and attended Union Catholic Regional High School. He played four years of college soccer at Villanova University. His freshman year, he led his team with 5 assists. In his second season with the Wildcats, he was named the Philadelphia Soccer Seven Player of the Year and was also awarded second team All-Big East.
