The 2026 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup will be the 16th edition of the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the International Hockey Federation. It will be held from 14 to 30 August 2026 in Wavre, Belgium and Amstelveen, Netherlands. Host selection The International Hockey Federation announced on 15 June 2022 that they received the following five bids for the 2026 World Cup. * London, Northampton, England and Cardiff, Wales (joint bid) * Germany (bid withdrawn October 2022 due to economic risk) * Potchefstroom, South Africa The following bids included holding combined men's and women's world cup simultaneously: *Wavre, Belgium and Amstelveen, Netherlands (joint bid) *Potchefstroom, South Africa Wavre, Belgium and Amstelveen, Netherlands were awarded the hosting rights on 3 November 2022. 2024–25 Men's FIH Pro League
The 2024–25 Men's FIH Pro League is the sixth edition of the Men's FIH Pro League, a field hockey championship for men's national teams. The tournament began on 30 November 2024 and will finish on 29 June 2025. Format The home and away principle was kept for the season, which was divided into date blocks. To assist with competition planning, international and national, several teams gathered in one venue to contest “mini-tournaments," wherein they each played two matches against one another. If one of the two matches played between two teams was cancelled, the winner of the other match received double points. The winning team will earn direct qualification to the 2026 World Cup. Ismailia ( ', ) is a city in north-eastern Egypt. Situated on the west bank of the Suez Canal, it is the capital of the Ismailia Governorate. 2025 Men's Hockey Africa Cup Of Nations
The 2025 Men's Hockey Africa Cup of Nations will be the 12th edition of the Men's Hockey Africa Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international men's field hockey championship of Africa organised by the African Hockey Federation. In March 2025 it was announced that the tournament would be held alongside the 2025 Women's Hockey Africa Cup of Nations, women's tournament in Ismailia, Egypt from 11 to 18 October 2025. The winner will qualify for the 2026 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup. Qualification The top two highest-ranked teams in the FIH World Rankings qualified directly for the tournament while the other teams had to play in the regional qualifiers. The top two teams from each of the regional qualifiers qualified for the tournament. The three regions were North-East Africa, North-West Africa, and Central-South Africa. 2025 Men's Oceania Cup
The 2025 Men's Oceania Cup is the upcoming thirteenth edition of the Men's Oceania Cup, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Oceania organised by the Oceania Hockey Federation. It will be held from 4 to 7 September 2025, at the MWT Hockey Centre in Darwin. Australia are the defending champions, having won the previous edition in 2023. Rajgir
Rajgir, old name Rajagriha, meaning "The City of Kings," is an ancient city and university town in the Nalanda district of Bihar, India. The 2025 Men's Hockey Asia Cup will be the 12th edition of the Men's Hockey Asia Cup, the quadrennial international men's field hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation.
