2025–26 Southern Counties East Football League
The 2025–26 Southern Counties East Football League season is the 60th in the history of the Southern Counties East Football League, and the tenth year the competition will have two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One, at levels 9 and 10 of the English football league system. For the second consecutive season, the league will be known as Presence & Co. Southern Counties East League for sponsorship reasons. The provisional club allocations for steps 5 and 6 were announced by The Football Association on 15 May 2025. Premier Division The Premier Division comprises sixteen teams from the previous season, along with three new clubs after Faversham Town and VCD Athletic were promoted to the Isthmian League South East Division and Snodland Town or Lydd Town, and Lordswood were relegated to Division One. Southern Counties East Football League
The Southern Counties East Football League is an English association football, football league established in 1966, which has teams based in Kent and Southeast London. Its two divisions are allocated at Step 5 and Step 6 of the National League System (which equates to Levels 9–10 of the overall English football league system). At its inception it was known as the Kent Premier League, and until 2013 as the Kent League. There is no direct connection between this league and a previous Kent Football League (1894–1959), Kent League that existed from 1894 to 1959, despite many clubs having spells of membership in both leagues. History The current league was formed in 1966, from teams in and around the county of Kent, when the Thames & Medway Combination (which had its origins in 1896) was expanded and renamed the Kent Premier League. Essex Senior Football League
The Essex Senior Football League is an English men's football league. It contains clubs from the Essex FA, Hertfordshire FA, London FA, Middlesex FA and the Amateur Football Alliance. It is a feeder league to Division One North of the Isthmian League and has a single division which sits at Step 5 (or Level 9) of the National League System. Founder members The Essex Senior League was formed in 1971 with nine founder members. The finishing positions for the 1971–72 season were as follows: Promotion and relegation The Essex Senior League states that a club must finish in the top 3 to be considered for promotion to the Isthmian League Division One North. However the process is governed by the FA Leagues Committee who regulate relegations and promotions throughout the National League System.
