2025–26 OHL Season
The 2025–26 OHL season will be the 46th season of operation (45th season of play) of the Ontario Hockey League. The league will play a 68-game regular season which will begin on September 18, 2025 and conclude on March 22, 2026. The post-season will begin on March 26, 2026 and conclude in May 2026. The team who wins the championship will win the J. Ross Robertson Cup and will represent the Ontario Hockey League at the 2026 Memorial Cup, which will be hosted by the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League. The tournament will be held at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia. Off-season Interleague schedule On June 3, the OHL and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League announced four interleague games between the two leagues. The Ottawa 67's will host the Gatineau Olympiques on January 16 at TD Place Arena before making the trip to Gatineau, Quebec to face the Olympiques at Centre Slush Puppie. Ontario Hockey League
The Ontario Hockey League (OHL; ) is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues which constitute the Canadian Hockey League, alongside the Western Hockey League and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. The league is for players aged 16–20. There are currently 20 teams in the OHL: seventeen in Ontario, two in Michigan, and one in Pennsylvania. The league was founded in 1980 when its predecessor, the Ontario Major Junior Hockey League, formally split away from the Ontario Hockey Association, joining the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League and its direct affiliation with Hockey Canada. Gatineau Olympiques
The Gatineau Olympiques are a Canadian junior ice hockey team based in Gatineau, Quebec, that plays in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Starting with the 2021–22 season, the Olympiques play home games at Centre Slush Puppie, having previously played at the Robert Guertin Centre dating back to its beginnings in the Central Junior A Hockey League. Erie Otters
The Erie Otters are a major junior ice hockey team based in Erie, Pennsylvania. They are members of the Midwest division of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), one of only three American teams in the league. The team's name refers to the North American river otter common to Lake Erie. The Otters play at Erie Insurance Arena in downtown Erie, next door to UPMC Park and the Warner Theatre. The Otters have twice captured the prestigious J. Ross Robertson Cup as OHL champions in the 2001–02 and 2016–17 seasons, and won the Wayne Gretzky Trophy as Western Conference champions in the 2014–15 and 2016–17 seasons. Brantford Bulldogs
The Brantford Bulldogs are a major junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) that began to play in the 2023–24 season. Based in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, the Bulldogs play their home games at Brantford Civic Centre. The franchise was founded in 1981 as the Belleville Bulls, playing in Belleville, Ontario for 34 years before being purchased by owner Michael Andlauer in March 2015 and relocated to Hamilton. Brampton Steelheads
The Brampton Steelheads are a Canadian junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), based in Brampton, Ontario. The Steelheads play their home games at the CAA Centre in Brampton. The team relocated from nearby Mississauga in 2024. As the Mississauga Steelheads, the team previously won the Emms Trophy as regular season champions of the Central division and the Bobby Orr Trophy as playoffs champions of the Eastern conference during the 2016–17 OHL season. North Bay Battalion
The North Bay Battalion are a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League based in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. The franchise was founded as the Brampton Battalion on December 3, 1996, and began play in 1998. The team relocated to North Bay prior to the 2013–14 OHL season. History Early years, 1998–2013 The Brampton Battalion's inaugural season began in 1998–99, choosing the Battalion name from community suggestions, and was also adopted by the competitive minor hockey program in Brampton. Barrie Colts
The Barrie Colts are a junior ice hockey team in Ontario Hockey League (OHL), based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. The Colts play home games at the Sadlon Arena. Aréna Glencore
The Aréna Glencore (previously known as the Aréna Iamgold and the Aréna Dave-Keon) is a 2,150-seat (total capacity 3,500) multi-purpose arena in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada. It was built in 1951. It is home to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies ice hockey team. Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec
Rouyn-Noranda (; 2021 population 42,313) is a city on Osisko Lake in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Quebec, Canada. The city of Rouyn-Noranda is coextensive with a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and census division (CD) of Quebec of the same name. Their geographical code is 86. Sudbury Community Arena
The Sudbury Community Arena is a multi-purpose arena in the downtown core of Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. It was built in 1951, on the site of the former Central Public School, at a cost of $700,000. The approval and construction of the arena was overseen by Sudbury Mayor William S. Beaton, Bill Beaton. It is home to the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League and the Sudbury Five of the Basketball Super League (North America), Basketball Super League. It has an ice surface of 200' x 85', with a capacity of 4,640 seated, 5,100 standing and is wheelchair accessible. The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies are a Canadian junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League based in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The team plays its home games at the Aréna Iamgold, Aréna Glencore. The Huskies finished first overall in the QMJHL, during the 2007–08 QMJHL season, 2007–08, 2015–16 QMJHL season, 2015–16 and 2018–19 QMJHL season, 2018–19 seasons, winning the Jean Rougeau Trophy. Sudbury Wolves
The Sudbury Wolves are an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) ice hockey team based in Greater Sudbury, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Sudbury has had various hockey teams competing at the Junior ice hockey, junior and senior ice hockey levels of the game known as the "Wolves" (or "Cub Wolves") nearly every year since around the time of World War I. The current junior franchise came into existence in 1972 when local businessman Mervin "Bud" Burke purchased the Niagara Falls Flyers and relocated the team to Sudbury. The current franchise has never won the Memorial Cup, nor has it captured the J. Ross Robertson Cup.
