2025–26 King's Cup (Saudi Arabia)
The King Cup (sometimes spelled King's Cup) (), officially known as The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Cup (), is the Saudi Arabian football knockout cup competition. The King's Cup is the second-oldest knockout competition in Saudi Arabian football, following the Crown Prince's Cup. History The cup was originally created in 1957 as the His Majesty's Cup (or King's Cup) and was played annually until 1990. It was re-launched in 2008 under the name 'King Cup of Champions,' featuring only the top six finishers of the Saudi Preimer/Pro League, as well as the winners of the Crown Prince's Cup and the Federation Cup. In 2014 the competition was officially renamed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Cup, and it returned to its original format. In 2025, following the completion of official documentation by Saudi football authorities, the historical records of the King’s Cup were revised. Saudi Federation Cup
The Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup, formerly known as the Saudi Federation Cup, was an association football competition organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. History The competition was founded in the 1975–76 season, with Al-Nassr as the first champion. Initially, it was for senior teams, but the rules were later changed to allow only players under 23 years of age. However, after a few years and a lack of spectator interest, the competition was reopened to players of all ages. In 2000, the name of the competition was changed from saudi federation Cup to its current title, a decision made to commemorate the late Prince Faisal bin Fahd. The 2009-10 edition was the final tournament for first teams. It was then changed to an Under-21 competition, counting for youth teams rather than the first team. The 1976 King Cup was the 18th season of the knockout competition since its establishment in 1956. Al-Nassr were the defending champions and successfully defended the title, winning their second one in a row. The final saw Al-Nassr beat Al-Ahli 2–0 at the Youth Welfare Stadium in Riyadh.
