The 2025–26 Big Bash League season or BBL, 15 will be the fifteenth season of the Big Bash League (BBL), the professional men's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. Melbourne Renegades are an Australian professional men's Twenty20 franchise cricket club based in Melbourne, the capital city of the Australian state of Victoria (Australia), Victoria. Sam Curran
Samuel Matthew Curran (born 3 June 1998) is an English cricketer who has played for England in all formats. Although he is best known as a limited overs player, Curran has expressed his desire to return to the Test side, his last Test having been in 2021 against India. In domestic cricket, he represents Surrey, and has played in multiple Twenty20 leagues. Curran made his Test and One Day International debuts in 2018, and his Twenty20 International debut in 2019. He was part of the England team that won the 2022 T20 World Cup, taking the most wickets for England at the tournament and was named Player of the Tournament. Sydney Sixers
The Sydney Sixers is an Australian professional franchise men's cricket team, competing in Australia's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League (BBL). Along with the Sydney Thunder, the Sixers are the successors of the Speed Blitz Blues, New South Wales Blues who played in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. David Payne (cricketer)
David Alan Payne (born 15 February 1991) is an English cricketer who made his debut for Gloucestershire in 2009. A left-arm fast-medium bowler, he has represented England at U-19 level in both Test matches and One Day Internationals. He was named as part of the squad for the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup. Since his debut for Gloucestershire, he has become a key part of their bowling attack and often opened, and has also showed promise with the bat, by scoring his maiden First Class half-century at the end of the 2011 season. Laurie John Evans (born 12 October 1987) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Surrey County Cricket Club. A right-handed top-order batsman Evans has previously represented Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Sussex in county cricket. Since 2019 he has been selected as an overseas player for various global Twenty20 leagues. The Perth Scorchers are an Australian men's professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team that competes in the Big Bash League. The Scorchers wear an orange uniform and are based in Perth in the Australian state of Western Australia. Their home ground is the Perth Stadium.
