2025 Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament
The 2025 Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT) was a single-elimination tournament of 32 NCAA Division I women's college basketball teams not selected to participate in the 2025 NCAA tournament. The tournament began on March 20 and ended on April 2. The first three rounds were played on the campuses of various schools, and the semifinal and championship games were played at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Minnesota Golden Gophers won the 2025 WBIT over the Belmont Bruins. Minnesota was the sole Big Ten team invited to the 2025 WBIT.Minnesota Selected for 2025 WBIT Field.

Hinkle Fieldhouse
Hinkle Fieldhouse (named Butler Fieldhouse from 1928 until 1966) is a basketball arena on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed in early 1928, it was the largest basketball arena in the United States until 1950. The facility was renamed Hinkle Fieldhouse in 1966 in honor of Butler's longtime coach and athletic director, Paul D. "Tony" Hinkle. It is the sixth-oldest college basketball arena still in use. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1987, Hinkle Fieldhouse is sometimes referred to as "Indiana's Basketball Cathedral." The 2024–25 James Madison Dukes women's basketball team represents the James Madison University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Dukes, led by ninth-year head coach Sean O'Regan and play their home games at the Atlantic Union Bank Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia. They are competing as members of the Sun Belt Conference. 2024–25 Portland Pilots Women's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Portland Pilots women's basketball team represents the University of Portland in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.
