2025 Skate America
The 2025 Skate America is a figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU). Organized and hosted by U.S. Figure Skating, it is the fifth event of the 2025–26 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating: a senior-level international invitational competition series. It will be held November 14–16 at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, New York, in the United States. Medals will be awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters will earn points toward qualifying for the 2025–26 Grand Prix Final. ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (known as ISU Champions Series from 1995 to 1997) is a series of senior international figure skating competitions organized by the International Skating Union. The invitational series was inaugurated in 1995, incorporating several previously existing events. Medals are awarded in single skating, men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Ice dance (sometimes referred to as ice dancing) is a discipline of figure skating that historically draws from ballroom dancing. It joined the World Figure Skating Championships in 1952, and became a Winter Olympic Games medal sport in 1976.
