2025 NBA All-Star Game
The 2025 NBA All-Star Championship was an all-star single-elimination basketball tournament played on February 16, 2025, during the National Basketball Association's 2024–25 season. It was the 74th edition of the NBA All-Star Game. It was hosted by the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center. It was the fourth time the Warriors hosted the game and the first time since 2000, when the NBA All-Star game was played at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, California. The Warriors also hosted the game in 1960, as the Philadelphia Warriors at the Convention Hall in Philadelphia and in 1967, as the San Francisco Warriors at the Cow Palace in Daly City. This was the first time that the NBA All-Star Game was held in San Francisco. The 2024–25 NBA season is the 79th season of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The regular season began on October 22, 2024, and ended on April 13, 2025. A single-elimination knockout, or sudden-death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of a match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. Each winner will play another in the next round, until the final match-up, whose winner becomes the tournament champion(s). An all-star team is a group of people all having a high level of performance in their field. Originating in sports, it has since drifted into vernacular and has been borrowed heavily by the entertainment industry. It was the 73rd edition of the NBA All-Star Game. It was hosted by the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This was the second time that Indianapolis hosted the All-Star Game; the last time the game was played in the city was in 1985 at the Hoosier Dome. "O Canada" () is the national anthem of Canada.
