2025 Horizon League Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2025 Horizon League Men's Basketball Tournament was the final event of the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2024–25 men's basketball season for the Horizon League. It was held from March 4–11, 2025; first-round and quarterfinal games were played at the home courts of the higher seeds, with all remaining games at Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis. The winner, 2024–25 Robert Morris Colonials men's basketball team, Robert Morris, received the conference's automatic berth into the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, NCAA Tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Barbasol for the third consecutive year. Seeds All teams in the conference participated in the tournament, with the top five teams receiving byes to the quarterfinals. The bracket is reset after each round so that the lowest remaining seed always plays the highest. Corteva Coliseum
The Corteva Coliseum is a 6,500-seat indoor multi-use arena, located on the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. It was originally called the Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum and later the Pepsi Coliseum, Fairgrounds Coliseum, and Indiana Farmers Coliseum. History Originally opened in 1939 as part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Works Progress Administration (part of the New Deal), the Coliseum has hosted numerous historical events, including the only performances ever held in Indiana by The Beatles, in 1964. 1963 gas explosion On October 31, 1963, during a Holiday on Ice show, a liquefied petroleum gas leak at a concession stand caused an explosion which killed 81 people and injured around 400 others. The 2024–25 Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball team represented Oakland University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Golden Grizzlies, led by 41st-year head coach Greg Kampe, will played their home games at the OU Credit Union O'rena in Auburn Hills, Michigan as members of the Horizon League. With a win against Defiance College on November 4, 2024, Greg Kampe recorded his 700th career win. Fairborn is a city in Greene County, Ohio, United States. The population was 34,620 at the 2020 census. It is a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, Dayton and part of the Dayton metropolitan area. OU Credit Union O'rena, nicknamed "The Blacktop", is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Auburn Hills, Michigan with a Rochester mailing address. It is home to the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball teams. The court has a distinctive "blacktop" color first used in the 2015–16 season.
