2025 F4 Spanish Championship
The 2025 F4 Spanish Championship is the tenth season of the F4 Spanish Championship. It is a multi-event Motorsport#Motor racing, motor racing championship for Open-wheel car, open wheel, Formula racing, formula racing cars regulated according to Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA Formula 4 regulations, based in Spain. Following a partnership with the Gedlich Racing-run Formula Winter Series in 2024, the Eurocup-3 and Spanish F4 organisers announced a new breakaway Spanish Winter Championship for each series, to be held across the Iberian Peninsula in the early months of 2025. F4 Spanish Championship
The F4 Spanish Championship () is an FIA Formula 4 racing series. The championship was planned to launch in 2015, though the inaugural season was cancelled and delayed until 2016. Koiranen GP was the promoter of the championship for the first two seasons. The current promoter is Agrupación Deportiva F4 Spain. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched the FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 is to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30.000 in purchase. A single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100.000 in costs. The Spanish F4 will be one of the second phase Formula 4 championship to be launched. Alex Powell (born 18 September 2007) is an American and Jamaican racing driver, who competes in the Italian F4 Championship for R-ace GP. He has been a member of the Mercedes Junior Team since 2019. He previously contested the 2025 F4 Middle East Championship, finishing runner-up to Emanuele Olivieri. He finished fifth in the 2024 Italian F4 Championship with Prema Racing. Alcañiz () is a town and municipality of Teruel province in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. The town is located on the banks of the river Guadalope. MotorLand Aragón (alternative Spanish name: Circuito de Alcañiz) is a race track used for motorsports located in Alcañiz, Spain. The circuit was designed by German architect Hermann Tilke in conjunction with the British architectural business Foster and Partners. Aiva Alexis Anagnostiadis (born 9 August 2007) is an Australian racing driver competing for Hitech TGR in F1 Academy. Early career Karting Anagnostiadis started karting at the age of eight, mostly racing in Australia and most notably winning the Ladies Trophy in the 2021 Australian Karting Championship. A year after her Ladies Trophy title, Anagnostiadis represented Australia in that year's Karting Sprint Senior category of the FIA Motorsport Games. Yani Stevenheydens (born 22 February 2006) is a Belgian racing driver who is competing in the 2025 Eurocup-3 season for GRS Team. He was the 2024 French F4 vice-champion. Career Formula 4 2023 After winning the IAME series shootout, Stevenheydens was announced to be making his single-seater debut in the French F4 Championship. In only his second race in Nogaro, the Belgian was able to take his first podium with third place. This was followed by a double rostrum at the Pau Grand Prix.
