2025 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2025 Atlantic 10 men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the 2024–25 Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball season, 2024–25 season of the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10). It was held from March 12–16, 2025, in Washington, D.C., at the Capital One Arena. It will be the 49th annual edition of the tournament. Seeds All 15 A-10 schools participated in the tournament. Teams were seeded by winning percentage within the conference, with a tiebreaker system to seed teams with identical percentages. The top nine teams received a first-round bye, and the top four teams received a double-bye, automatically advancing them to the quarterfinals. Capital One Arena
Capital One Arena is an indoor arena in Washington, D.C. Located in the Chinatown section of the larger Penn Quarter neighborhood, the arena sits atop the Gallery Place rapid transit station of the Washington Metro. The arena was opened on December 2, 1997 as MCI Center, but renamed to Verizon Center in 2006 when MCI was acquired by Verizon Communications. The name was changed to Capital One Arena in 2017. Owned and operated by Monumental Sports & Entertainment, it is the home arena of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL), the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the Georgetown University men's basketball team. It was also home to the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) from 1998 to 2018, after which they moved to the CareFirst Arena in southeast Washington for the 2019 season.
