2025 America East Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2025 America East Women's Basketball Conference tournament was the postseason women's basketball tournament for the America East Conference. It was held March 6–14, 2025 at the campus sites of the higher seeds. Vermont defeated Albany 62–55 in the Final. Vermont will receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The tournament will be sponsored by Jersey Mike's Subs and will be officially known as the 2025 Jersey Mike's America East Women's Basketball Playoffs. Seeds Eight of the nine America East teams will qualify for the tournament. The teams will be seeded by record in conference, with a tiebreaker system to seed teams with identical conference records. Alisa Kresge
Alisa Kresge (born April 1, 1985) is a former American women's basketball player and current coach. She is the head coach of the Vermont Catamounts women's basketball team. Playing career Raised in Holmdel Township, New Jersey, Kresge played prep basketball at Red Bank Catholic High School. Kresge played at Marist Red Foxes women's basketball, Marist where she was part of four Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, MAAC regular-season title teams, and three MAAC tournament championship teams. With the Red Foxes, Kresge made three NCAA tournament appearances as a player, culminating in a Sweet 16 appearance in 2007 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, 2007. Vermont Catamounts Women's Basketball
The Vermont Catamounts women's basketball team is the basketball team that represents the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at Patrick Gym. History The Catamounts went undefeated in the regular season in back-to-back seasons in the 1991–92 and 1992–93 seasons, the first time a women's basketball program did that in the NCAA era.
