2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup
The 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup was the third edition of the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the women's national teams of Asia. The tournament was held between 6 and 17 May 2025 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. Iran women's national futsal team, Iran were the two-time defending champions, but were eliminated by Japan in the semi-finals. Japan women's national futsal team, Japan went on to win their maiden title after beating Thailand on penalties in the final. The tournament served as the qualifying for the inaugural 2025 FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup in the Philippines. Maral Torkaman
Maral Torkaman (Persian: مارال ترکمان; born November 26, 2002) is an Iranian futsal player. She was called up to the Under-14 national football team at the age of 11 and has been a regular member of the women's national football team since then. In the summer of 2019, she accidentally and unexpectedly decided to participate in futsal and joined Saipa Tehran women's futsal team, Saipa Tehran and became a student of Niloofar Ardalan; Presence in Saipa gave Maral Torkaman the opportunity to play alongside the best futsal players.
