2024–25 Women's Big Bash League Season
The 2024–25 Women's Big Bash League season or WBBL, 10 (also known as Weber Inc., Weber Women's Big Bash League 2024 for sponsorship reasons) was the 10th season of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), the semi-professional women's cricket, women's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament was played from 27 October 2024, with the final held on 1 December 2024. Adelaide Strikers (WBBL), Adelaide Strikers were the defending champions. Background On 9 July 2024, it was announced that the 10th season of the tournament would begin on 27 October 2024, seven days after the conclusion of the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Orla Patricia Prendergast (born 1 June 2002) is an Irish cricketer who plays for Dragons and Ireland. In August 2019, she was named in the Irish Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad for the 2019 Netherlands Women's Quadrangular Series. Luke Williams (born 24 December 1979) is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer. Career Williams played in five first-class matches for South Australia in 2000/01.
