2024–25 Western Michigan Broncos Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Western Michigan Broncos men's basketball team represented Western Michigan University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Broncos, led by third-year head coach Dwayne Stephens, played their home games at University Arena in Kalamazoo, Michigan as members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Previous season The Broncos finished the 2023–24 season 12–20, 9–9 in MAC play, to finish in a tie for sixth place. They were defeated by Ohio in the first round of the MAC tournament. Dwayne Stephens
Dwayne Jerome Stephens (born July 19, 1971) is an American basketball coach who is currently the men's head coach for the Western Michigan Broncos. Previously, he was an assistant and associate head coach at Michigan State for 19 years. Playing career Stephens played basketball at Michigan State from 1989 to 1993 under Spartan legend Jud Heathcote. He was a four-year letter winner for the Spartans and was a third-team Basketball Weekly's Freshman All-America Team. In his junior year, he averaged 11.2 points and five rebounds. In his senior season, he was co-captain for the Spartans and averaged 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He was named to Basketball Weekly's Honorable Mention All-Midwest Team. The Wayne State Warriors are the athletic teams that represent Wayne State University, located in Detroit, Michigan, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. They are a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The Pacific Tigers men's basketball team represents the University of the Pacific, located in Stockton, California. The team is an NCAA Division I member, part of the West Coast Conference. The Rhode Island Rams men's basketball team is a college basketball program that competes in NCAA Division I and the Atlantic 10 Conference.
