2024–25 West Ham United F.C. Season
The 2024–25 season was the 130th season in the history of West Ham United Football Club, and the club's thirteenth consecutive season in the Premier League. In addition to the domestic league, the club also participated in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. They finished the season in 14th place in the Premier League with 43 points. They were eliminated in the third round of both the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. Their top scorer for the season was Jarrod Bowen with 14 goals. Season summary Start of season August West Ham started the season on 17 August with a home game against Aston Villa. Amadou Onana scored a headed goal for Aston Villa in the fourth minute but Lucas Paquetá equalised with a penalty in the 37th minute after Tomáš Souček had been fouled by Matty Cash. In the 79th minute, Jhon Durán, who had been the subject of a possible transfer to West Ham, scored to make it 2–1 to Aston Villa, the final score. Selhurst Park is a football stadium in Selhurst, in the London Borough of Croydon, England, which is the home ground of Premier League club Crystal Palace.
