2024–25 Utah Tech Trailblazers Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Utah Tech Trailblazers men's basketball team represented Utah Tech University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Trailblazers, led by 20th-year head coach Jon Judkins, played their home games at Burns Arena in St. George, Utah as members of the Western Athletic Conference. Previous season The Trailblazers finished the 2023–24 season 11–20, 7–13 in WAC play to finish in 9th place. They did not qualify to participate in the WAC tournament, as only the top eight team were eligible to participate. Jon Judkins
Jon Judkins (born March 3, 1964) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Utah Tech Trailblazers men's basketball team. Playing career After a season at Dixie College (now Utah Tech University), Judkins transferred to Utah State where he was the first Aggie to post a triple-double, and was part of the team's 1988 NCAA tournament bid. Coaching career After graduation, Judkins joined the coaching staff at Snow College, where he was an assistant until 1993, when he was elevated to head coach. Over the next 12 seasons, he posted a 284–128 record before joining Utah Tech in 2005, guiding the team through its transition from junior college to NCAA status, first in Division II and in 2020, Division I as the Trailblazers join the Western Athletic Conference. Lehi High School
Lehi High School is a public high school in Lehi, Utah. The school mascot is the Pioneer, specifically Pioneer Pete, in honor of the city being founded in 1850 by a group of Mormon pioneers. The school has progressed from 3A to 6A in the last five years due to rapid population growth in Lehi, attributed to Silicon Slopes. History In the late 1800s, the students met in the attic of the old Central School, but as patrons demanded more structure and formality for their students in the secondary grades, Lehi High School was created in 1908. Lehi ( ) is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. The population was 75,907 at the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census, up from 47,407 in 2010, and it is the center of population of Utah. The rapid growth in Lehi is due, in part, to the rapid development of the tech industry region known as Silicon Slopes. San Francisco Dons Men's Basketball
The San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represents the University of San Francisco in NCAA Division I men's college basketball. The Dons compete in the West Coast Conference, where they have won sixteen regular season championships and one conference tournament championship. The current head coach is Chris Gerlufsen. They play home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium, which also serves as the venue for women's basketball, volleyball, athletic department offices, and athletic training rooms.
