2024–25 Utah State Aggies Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Utah State Aggies men's basketball team represented Utah State University in the Mountain West Conference during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by first-year head coach Jerrod Calhoun, the Aggies played their home games on campus at the Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah. Previous season The Aggies finished the 2023–24 season 28–7, 14–4 in MWC play to win the regular season conference championship. Jerrod Calhoun
Jerrod Frank Calhoun (born October 17, 1981) is an American basketball coach and former guard who is the head coach of the Utah State Aggies men's basketball team. He previously served as the head coach at Youngstown State University from 2017 to 2024 and Fairmont State University from 2012 to 2017. He played college basketball at Cleveland State from 2001 to 2003. Playing career A standout basketball player at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Calhoun attended Cleveland State University and played two seasons under Rollie Massimino. He moved on to Cincinnati and acted as a student assistant under Bob Huggins until his graduation in 2004. Coaching career Calhoun's first job post graduation was as an assistant at Walsh University where he was part of the Cavaliers' NAIA national championship squad in 2005. The 2023–24 TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represented Texas Christian University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by eighth-year head coach Jamie Dixon, and played their home games at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas as a member of the Big 12 Conference. History The SJSU men's basketball team played its first recorded game in 1909. The Utah Tech Trailblazers men's basketball team represents Utah Tech University (formerly known as Dixie State), in St. George, Utah as a member of NCAA Division I and the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Previously, the school's program participated in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), at the NCAA Division II level.
