2024–25 S.L. Benfica Season
The 2024–25 Sport Lisboa e Benfica season was the club's 121st season in existence and its 91st consecutive season in the top flight of Portuguese football. Domestically, Benfica played in the Primeira Liga, and also competed in the Taça da Liga and Taça de Portugal. In Europe, Benfica played in the UEFA Champions League. Rui Manuel César Costa (; born 29 March 1972) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who is the 34th president of sports club S.L. Benfica. Orkun Kökçü (; born 29 December 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Süper Lig club Beşiktaş, on loan from Primeira Liga club Benfica. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Turkey national team. Arthur Mendonça Cabral (born 25 April 1998) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Botafogo. Club career Ceará Arthur Cabral, born in Campina Grande, Paraíba, Cabral joined Ceará's youth setup in 2014.
