2024–25 Premiership Women's Rugby
The 2024–25 Premiership Women's Rugby was the eighth season of the top-flight domestic women's rugby union club competition in England, and the fifth to be sponsored by Allianz. It was the second season to be branded as Premiership Women's Rugby. The reigning champions entering the season were Gloucester-Hartpury, who claimed their second league title after winning the 2024 final against Bristol Bears Women. Teams and locations The 2024–25 edition of Premiership Women's Rugby was contested by the same nine clubs which started the 2023–24 season. No team was brought in to replace Worcester Warriors, who withdrew from the league shortly before the beginning of the previous season. Sean Lynn (rugby Union)
Sean Lynn is a Welsh professional rugby union coach and former player who has been head coach of Welsh national women's rugby union team since 2025. He was head coach of English Premiership Women's Rugby side Gloucester-Hartpury from 2020 to 2025 and is most notable for coaching them to three consecutive Premiership Women's Rugby titles. Playing career Lynn played Scrum-half for Wales Under-18 as well as the Welsh Student's team. He also played for the Gloucester Rugby Under 19s team. Sandy Park
Sandy Park is a rugby union stadium and conference and banqueting centre in Exeter, England. It is the home ground of Exeter Chiefs, who from the 2010–11 season have been playing in Premiership Rugby, the top flight of the English rugby union league system. The club relocated there from their former stadium at the County Ground in 2006. The stadium can hold 15,600 spectators and is located adjacent to M5 junction 30, which is around 5 miles from Exeter City Centre. Abbie Ward (née Scott, born 27 March 1993) is an English rugby union player. She plays at international level for England, having made her debut for the side in 2015. She currently plays for Bristol Bears Women at club level. International career Ward progressed through the England rugby training groups as a teenager and was part of the Under 20s England women's rugby team that won the U20 Nations Cup in 2011. Amber Reed
Amber Victoria Reed (born 3 April 1991) is an English former rugby union player. She won the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup as a member of 's squad and was selected for the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup squad. Domestically she played for Bristol Bears. Reed announced her retirement in March 2025. International career Reed debuted for the England Women's rugby team in 2012 against France, having previously played for the national side's Under 20s team. In 2014, she won the Women's Rugby World Cup with England. Reed went on to play every match in the 2017 Six Nations, in which England won the Grand Slam. She was also selected for the England World Cup team in 2017; the side lost in the final to New Zealand.
