2024–25 Oklahoma Sooners Women's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball team represented the University of Oklahoma during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Sooners, led by fourth-year head coach Jennie Baranczyk, played their home games at the Lloyd Noble Center and competed as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in their inaugural season in the conference. Previous season The Sooners finished the season 23–10 (15–3 Big 12) to finish in first place in the Big 12 in their final season in the conference. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, where they defeated Florida Gulf Coast before falling to Indiana in the second round. Jennie Baranczyk
Jennie Lillis Baranczyk (born Jennie Marie Lillis; February 22, 1982) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball, University of Oklahoma women's basketball team. Early life and education Born Jennie Marie Lillis in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jennie Baranczyk was raised in Urbandale, Iowa and attended Dowling Catholic High School in nearby West Des Moines, Iowa, West Des Moines, the same high school which Caitlin Clark graduated from. A communications major, Baranczyk attended the University of Iowa and played at forward (basketball), forward on the Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team under head coach Lisa Bluder from 2000 to 2004. As a senior, Baranczyk averaged 16.0 points and 6.2 rebounds and was a second-team All-Big Ten Conference, Big Ten selection. Oregon State Beavers Women's Basketball
The Oregon State Beavers women's basketball team is the official women's basketball team of Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. They are one of nine varsity women's sports at OSU. They are a member of the West Coast Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The team's home venue is Gill Coliseum and their official colors are orange and black. The Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team represents the University of Louisville in women's basketball. The school competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Cardinals play home basketball games at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville's current head coach is Jeff Walz, who joined the team in 2007. Waterloo West High School is one of three public high schools under the auspices of the Waterloo Community School District in Waterloo, Iowa. The school is located at the intersection of E. Ridgeway Ave. and Baltimore Ave. Mascot The school mascot is Westy the Wahawk. The name "Wahawk" is a portmanteau of the city name (Waterloo) and the county name ( Black Hawk).
