2024–25 Loyola Ramblers Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team represented Loyola University Chicago during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Ramblers, led by fourth-year head coach Drew Valentine, played their home games at the Joseph J. Gentile Arena in Chicago, Illinois as third-year members of the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10). Previous season The Ramblers finished 2023–24 season 23–10, 15–3 in A-10 play, to finish in a tie for the regular-season championship. As the No. 2 seed in the A-10 tournament, they lost to St. Bonaventure in the quarterfinals. Drew Valentine
Carlton Andrew Valentine II (born May 25, 1991) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at Loyola University Chicago, a position he assumed in 2021. He played college basketball at Oakland University in Michigan, where he later served as an assistant coach. Playing career Valentine played forward at Oakland from 2009 to 2013, where he was a member of two NCAA tournament teams. He finished his playing career second in career games played with the program, as well in the top 10 of both offensive and defensive rebound categories. Coaching career After his playing career, Valentine joined the Michigan State staff as a graduate manager, where his brother Denzel was a player. After two seasons with the program, Valentine joined the coaching staff at his alma mater Oakland as an assistant coach, the youngest assistant hired during head coach Greg Kampe's long tenure. Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons Men's Basketball
The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). They have been a member of the Horizon League since 2020 (departing from the Summit League after thirteen years). Formerly, they represented the now defunct Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). The team has yet to participate in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. The Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball program is the men's college basketball team representing the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. 2024 NBA Draft
The 2024 NBA draft was the 78th edition of the National Basketball Association's annual NBA draft, draft. Unlike recent years, the 2024 draft took place over two nights. This was the first NBA draft to be held on multiple nights since the draft was shortened to two rounds, with earlier drafts consisting of as few as three or as many as twenty-one rounds prior to the current format's debut in 1989.
