2024–25 Kansas City Roos Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Kansas City Roos men's basketball team represented the University of Missouri–Kansas City during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Roos, led by third-year head coach Marvin Menzies, played their home games on-campus at Swinney Recreation Center in Kansas City, Missouri as a member of the Summit League. The Roos finished the season 13–20 overall, 4–12 in the Summit League to finish in eight place. As the eighth seed, they were victorious over Oral Roberts University in the first round but defeated by the University of Nebraska Omaha in the quarterfinal round of the Summit League tournament. Previous Season The Roos finished the 2023–24 season with a record of 16–16 overall, 10–6 in the Summit League to finish in a tie for second place. Marvin Menzies
Marvin Eugene Menzies (born October 15, 1961) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the men's head coach at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Menzies was hired on April 26, 2022, after former coach Billy Donlon resigned to become an assistant coach at Clemson. He was previously the associate head coach at Grand Canyon University. He was named to the position at Grand Canyon on April 18, 2019. Menzies joined the Grand Canyon staff after 12 consecutive seasons as a head coach including a three-year run at UNLV and nine seasons at New Mexico State. Menzies was not retained when Bryce Drew was named head coach of Grand Canyon in March 2020. Navarro College is a public community college in Texas with its main campus in Corsicana and branches in Mexia, Midlothian, and Waxahachie. Arcadia High School (Arizona)
Arcadia High School is a public high school in Phoenix. The school has 1,680 students enrolled. Most of them come from feeder schools in the Scottsdale Unified School District. History The school was built 1958/59. It was designed by local architect Mel Ensign and built by Gilbert & Dolan Construction Co. The campus is known for its round buildings and futuristic space age design. Between 2005 and 2008 much of the original campus was demolished and a new campus was built in its place. Scottsdale Community College
Scottsdale Community College is a Public college, public community college just outside of Scottsdale, Arizona. It is on the city's eastern boundary, on 160 acres (650,000 m2) of land belonging to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The lease was taken out in 1970 and expires in 2069. The college is part of the Maricopa County Community College District. History Planning for Scottsdale Community College (SCC) began in 1967. On November 5, 1968, the MCCCD governing board allocated $5 million to build the campus.
