The 2024–25 season is Johor Darul Ta'zim F.C., Johor Darul Ta'zim Football Club's 51st season in club history and 10th season in the Malaysia Super League after rebranding their name from Johor FC. The club will also participate in the inaugural 2024–25 AFC Champions League Elite. Review Pre-season The 2024–25 Malaysia Super League season will be the first season to be played to have a two-year schedule since the 2007–08 Malaysia Super League season. Johor Darul Ta'zim started off their season playing a couple of pre-seasons friendlies against Thailand club, Police Tero F.C., Police Tero and Chonburi F.C., Chonburi at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium before travelling to Singapore to face Lion City Sailors FC, Lion City Sailors at the Bishan Stadium where new signings Nicolao Dumitru and Romel Morales scored in a 2–1 win. Johor, also spelled Johore,'' is a state of Malaysia in the south of the Malay Peninsula. It borders with Pahang, Malacca and Negeri Sembilan to the north.
