2024–25 Jacksonville Dolphins Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Jacksonville Dolphins men's basketball team represented Jacksonville University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Dolphins, led by fourth-year head coach Jordan Mincy, played their home games at Swisher Gymnasium located in Jacksonville, Florida as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. Previous season The Dolphins finished the 2023–24 season 16–17, 5–11 in ASUN play to finish in a tie for tenth place. They defeated Kennesaw State, and upset top-seeded Eastern Kentucky, before falling to eventual tournament champions Stetson in the semifinals of the ASUN tournament. Jordan Mincy
Jordan Mincy (born October 11, 1986) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Jacksonville Dolphins men's basketball team. Playing career Mincy played college basketball at Kent State under both Jim Christian and Geno Ford, where he was part of two MAC regular season and conference tournament squads, making two trips to the NCAA tournament in 2006 and 2008. Mincy left as the all-time leader in MAC history in games played at 135, and in seventh place on Kent State's all-time assists list. Coaching career After playing, Mincy joined the staff at South Carolina as a graduate assistant for one season before returning to his alma mater for a two-year stint as an assistant coach. In 2013, he'd join Charleston's coaching staff for one season, before moving on to an assistant coaching spot at Toledo. Providence School of Jacksonville is a private, college preparatory Christian school in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S. It has a preschool, a lower school, a middle school, and a high school, and enrolls about 1,200 students a year. The school is affiliated with the New Life Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church in Jacksonville, and opened in 1997. History Providence School was founded by New Life Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational Christian church in Jacksonville's Southside. Episcopal School of Jacksonville is an independent, coeducational private college preparatory school in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. It was founded in 1966 by the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. The school has two lower schools, a middle school and a high school and enrolls about 1,200 students a year. The Robert Morris Colonials men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States.
