2024–25 Birmingham City F.C. Season
The 2024–25 season is Birmingham City Football Club's 122nd season in the English football league system and first season in the third-tier EFL League One since 1994–95. They finished in 22nd place in the 2023–24 EFL Championship, and were relegated after 13 years at that level. The team confirmed promotion back to the Championship with six League One matches still to play, and Wrexham's failure to beat Wigan Athletic a few days later confirmed them as champions. It was Birmingham's first league title since winning the old Second Division in 1994–95. As with all third- and fourth-tier League clubs, the first team compete in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. Jay Stansfield (born 24 November 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Birmingham City. Garry Cook is a British sports executive. He worked for Manchester City between 2008 and 2011, Nike between 1996 and 2008, and for UFC between 2012 and 2016. The English football league system, also known as the football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in England, with five teams from Wales, one from Guernsey, one from Jersey and one from the Isle of Man also competing.
