The 2024–25 Adelaide 36ers season was the 44th season of the franchise in the National Basketball League (NBL). On 22 February 2024, Scott Ninnis signed a two-year contract as head coach. However, on 12 August 2024, the 36ers replaced Ninnis with Mike Wells. Alex Starling
Alexander Starling (born February 6, 1989) is an American-Australian professional basketball player for the Forestville Eagles of the NBL1 Central. He played college basketball for Palm Beach State College and the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats before embarking on an Australian rules football career after being identified as an international prospect. Gold Coast Sports And Leisure Centre
Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose arena and sports facility located at Carrara on Queensland's Gold Coast in Australia, capable of seating 5,000 fans. The centre is located adjacent to the Carrara Indoor Stadium and forms a part of the Gold Coast Sports Precinct. A section of the centre also serves as a sports administration and indoor training facility for the Gold Coast Suns with the facility being called the Austworld Centre under a naming rights partnership, who play home matches and train outdoors at the adjacent Carrara Stadium and training oval. Constructed for use in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre hosted badminton, powerlifting, weightlifting and wrestling competitions. The 2024–25 Tasmania JackJumpers season was the 4th season for the franchise in the National Basketball League (NBL). As reigning NBL champions, the JackJumpers competed in the 2024 FIBA Intercontinental Cup, becoming the first team from Oceania to play in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. Tasmania finished third, after defeating Al Riyadi from Lebanon in the third place game. Ben Griscti
Benjamin Griscti (born 4 July 2002) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Sturt Sabres of NBL1 Central. He is also contracted to the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for the Incarnate Word Cardinals and UC Riverside Highlanders. Early career Griscti was raised in Adelaide and spent his junior career with the Sturt Sabres. He played for the Sabres in the Premier League in 2019. On 15 April 2021, Griscti signed with the Incarnate Word Cardinals. He averaged 5.3 points and 3.4 rebounds during the 2022–23 season. Griscti transferred to the UC Riverside Highlanders in 2023. Isaac Bradley Humphries (born 5 January 1998) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball in the United States for the Kentucky Wildcats before making his professional debut in the NBL for the Sydney Kings in 2017.
