The 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup final was a Women's Twenty20 International cricket match that was played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 20 October 2024 to determine the winner of the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. It was played between New Zealand and South Africa. New Zealand defeated South Africa by 32 runs to win their maiden T20 World Cup title. Amelia Kerr was named as the Player of the Match for her all round performance of 43 (38) and 3/24 as well as the Player of the Tournament for taking 15 wickets and scoring 135 runs. Dubai International Cricket Stadium
The Dubai International Stadium, aka the Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is mainly used for cricket and is one of the three main cricket stadiums in the country, the other two being Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. It has seating capacity for 25,000 spectators, but it is expandable to accommodate 30,000 spectators. It is a part of the Dubai Sports City in Dubai.
