2024 Vermont Catamounts Men's Soccer Team
The 2024 Vermont Catamounts men's soccer team represented the University of Vermont during the 2024 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. They were led by head coach Rob Dow, in his seventh season. They played their home games at Virtue Field. This was the team's 60th season playing organized men's college soccer and their 36th playing in the America East Conference. Regarded as the program's best season in its history, the Catamounts started the season with a loss to ranked Western Michigan Broncos men's soccer, Western Michigan and a draw with UC Irvine Anteaters men's soccer, UC Irvine. These results saw them fall from their preseason ranking of fourteenth to unranked the following week. Rob Dow
Rob Dow (born September 7, 1981) is a Canadian soccer coach and a former soccer player. He is the head coach of the Vermont Catamounts men's soccer team; a position he has held since 2017. He led the University of Vermont Catamounts soccer team to victory in the 2024 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament, 2024 NCAA championships. Dow has also coached for the University of Maine, Mayville State University, Dean College, and Southern New Hampshire University. He is a graduate the University of Maine, and earned his master's degree at North Dakota State University. Hofstra Pride Men's Soccer
The Hofstra Pride men's soccer team represents Hofstra University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. The Pride play in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). The program has a notable history of achievements and distinguished players. The team has participated in eight NCAA Tournaments, reaching the second round in 2004, 2006, 2015, and 2021, and advancing to the Sweet Sixteen in 2021. Rider Broncs
The Rider Broncs are the athletic teams of Rider University, a private nonsectarian university in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, United States. The school is a Division I member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and its athletes compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The 2023 America East Conference men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the America East Conference held from November 4 through November 12, 2023. The five-match tournament took place at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play.
