2024 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series
The 2024 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series was the second round of the 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament took place in the UAE in February and March 2024. The tri-nation series was contested by the men's national teams of United Arab Emirates national cricket team, UAE, Scotland national cricket team, Scotland and Canada national cricket team, Canada. The matches were played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. Following the tri-series, UAE and Scotland contested a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. Scotland won the series 2–1. Saad Bin Zafar (; born 10 November 1986) is a Pakistani-Canadian cricketer who represents Canada in international cricket and is the current captain of the Canadian national cricket team. Saad is a left-handed all-rounder. 2024 Scotland Tri-Nation Series
The 2024 Scotland Tri-Nation Series was the third round of the 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament, which was held in Scotland in July 2024. The tri-nation series was contested by the men's national teams of Scotland, Namibia and Oman. The matches were played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. Originally scheduled for May 2024, the series was rescheduled to July due to "unprecedented poor weather" resulting in a delay in the preparation of the playing pitches. A one-off Twenty20 International (T20I) match between Scotland and Oman was scheduled to be held following the League 2 series in May. The T20I match was confirmed to be cancelled in Cricket Scotland's announcement of the series postponement in April 2024. The 2024 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the first round of the 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament took place in Nepal in February 2024. The tri-nation series was contested by the men's national teams of Namibia, Nepal and Netherlands. The matches were played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. Henry George Munsey (born 21 February 1993) is a Scottish cricketer. He has played for the Scotland national cricket team since 2015. He is a left-handed opening batsman. 2024–2026 Cricket World Cup League 2
The 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 is the second edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, a cricket tournament which forms part of the 2027 Cricket World Cup qualification process. As a result of the scrapping of Super League, this cycle of League 2 saw an increase from 7 to 8 teams. The rise in team count led to an increase in the total number of fixtures from 126 to 144. Scotland entered the competition as the defending champions. Teams and qualification The previous World Cup qualification cycle allowed for promotion of the League 2 champion to the Super League.
