2024 US Open – Girls' Singles
Mika Stojsavljevic won the girls' singles title at the 2024 US Open, defeating Wakana Sonobe in the final, 6–4, 6–4. Stojsavljevic became the second British player to win the girls' singles title, after Heather Watson in 2009. Katherine Hui was the reigning champion, but was no longer eligible to compete in junior events. Mika Stojsavljevic
Mika Stojsavljevic (; born 15 December 2008) is a British tennis player. She won the girls' singles title at the 2024 US Open. Early life Stojsavljevic was born to a Serbian father from Velika Popina in Croatia and a Polish mother from Warsaw. She was raised in Ealing, where she attended St Benedict's School. She later moved to train at the LTA national academy in Loughborough, and currently attends Loughborough Amherst School. Growing up, she idolised Maria Sharapova. Career Junior career 2023: Wimbledon singles quarterfinal In April 2023, she reached the final of the LTA national junior championships where she lost to Hannah Klugman. Competing as a 14 year-old at the Girls' singles of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships, Stojsavljevic secured a big win over the fourth seed and French Open junior finalist Lucciana Pérez Alarcón, and Australian 14th seed Emerson Jones, reaching the quarter-finals. Annika Penickova
Annika Penickova (born September 11, 2009) is an American tennis player. She has a career-high International Tennis Federation, ITF junior combined ranking of No. 16, achieved on March 3, 2025. She and her identical twin sister, Kristina Penickova, won the 2025 Australian Open – Girls' doubles, girls' doubles title at the 2025 Australian Open. Early life Penickova was born in Campbell, California, to Tomáš Pěnička and Olga Hostáková. Her parents are both former tennis players from the Czech Republic; her father was ranked as high as No. 884 by the Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP. Her uncle is former Czech ice hockey player Martin Hosták. Her grandparents live in Hradec Králové. Her identical twin sister, Kristina Penickova, Kristina, also plays tennis. Both sisters are coached by their father. They began their careers at Bay Club Courtside in Los Gatos, California, and currently live and train at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. Malak El Allami
Malak El Allami (born 28 July 2006) is a Moroccan tennis player. El Allami has a career-high WTA singles ranking of 976, achieved on 12 August 2024. She also has a career-high WTA doubles ranking of 709, achieved on 9 December 2024. El Allami made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2023 Morocco Open, where she received entry into the wildcard, but lost in the first round to Kamilla Rakhimova. She is the first Moroccan female tennis player to win a match at Wimbledon in juniors. In 2024, she and her partner and compatriot Aya El Aouni became champions in doubles at the ITF W35 tournament held in Casablanca, Morocco. Julia Stusek (born 30 June 2008) is a German tennis player. She has a career-high WTA singles ranking of world No. 749, achieved in October 2023. She is the daughter of former professional tennis player Petra Holubová and her father Tomas runs a tennis school. Due to her Czech parents, she speaks fluent Czech. Lilli Tagger
Lilli Tagger (born 17 February 2008) is an Austrian tennis player. She has a career high singles ranking of No. 506 achieved on 19 May 2025. She won the final of the 2025 French Open – Girls' singles, girls' singles at the 2025 French Open. Junior career From Lienz, she later became based in Varese near Milan, in Italy, and trained at the academy of Francesca Schiavone. In July 2024, she qualified for the girls' singles at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships with a win over Ksenia Efremova in a 10:6 match tie-break.
