The men's team pursuit competition at the 2024 UEC European Track Championships The 2024 UEC European Track Championships were the fourteenth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Omnisport Apeldoorn in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, from 10 to 14 January 2024. Omnisport Apeldoorn
The Omnisport Apeldoorn, also known as the Omnisportcentrum or simply called Omnisport, is a velodrome and multisport indoor arena in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Designed by FaulknerBrowns Architects the facility opened in 2008, it is divided into two halls: a cycling hall containing track cycling, cycling track and sport of athletics, athletics track, and a volleyball hall. The cycling hall has a capacity for 5,000 spectators and the volleyball hall for 2,000. The complex has been operated by Libéma since 2012. Usage and events In addition to its function as sports accommodation, Omnisport is used for business events such as fairs, congresses and meetings, and various public events such as music concerts. In 2013, a wing was added to the center that houses the De Voorwaarts shopping center. Besides the Omnisport Centre, there is a Ice skating, skating rink. Oscar Nilsson-Julien
Oscar Nilsson-Julien (born 10 January 2002) is a French road and track cyclist and a member of the French Olympic track squad. He started out representing Great Britain as a junior and U23 rider. In 2023, he switched UCI nationality to represent France. Cycling career Nilsson-Julien started riding at Herne Hill Velodrome in 2011, aged 9, joining the VC Londres cycling club. He raced for VCL between 2014 and 2020 and remains an honorary member. He won the European U23 Omnium title at the 2022 UEC European Under-23 Track Championships. He was also the 2022 British Elite Omnium champion, taking the title at the 2022 British National Track Championships. In addition to this, he won silver medals in three other events at the 2022 British championships: in the points race, scratch and Madison. Noah Vandenbranden (born 29 July 2002) is a Belgian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam .
