2024 Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions Softball Team
The 2024 Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions softball team represented Southeastern Louisiana University during the 2024 NCAA Division I softball season. The Lady Lions played their home games at North Oak Park in Hammond, LA and were led by ninth-year head coach Rick Fremin. They are members of the Southland Conference. They compiled a 47–15 overall record including a 17–7 record in conference play and a regular season second place finish. The Lady Lions won the Southland Conference tournament for the first time in program history. Earning the conference's auto-bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I softball tournament, the team competed in the NCAA Division I tournament's Tuscaloosa regional. The team had a 2–2 record defeating 23rd ranked Clemson twice and losing to 14th ranked twice. Their season ended with a loss to Alabama in the regional finals round. North Oak Park
North Oak Park is the home stadium for the Division I (NCAA) Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions softball team. The stadium is located on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. Amenities include bleacher seating for 500 fans; field lighting; a brick wall along the foul lines; an electronic scoreboard; dugouts; outdoor batting cages; concessions; restrooms; and locker rooms. The stadium was the home of 2005 and 2014 Southland Conference softball tournament. Port Allen is a city in, and the parish seat of, West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, United States. Watson is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, United States. The community is in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Watson Post Office was established on February 20, 1894, by George A. Watson. The first Live Oak School was built in 1895 on land donated by Rev. Joel Ott.
