The 2024 SEC men's basketball tournament, Southeastern Conference men's basketball tournament was a postseason men's basketball tournament for the Southeastern Conference held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, from March13 through 17, 2024. 2023–24 Auburn Tigers men's basketball team, Auburn defeated 2023–24 Florida Gators men's basketball team, Florida, 86–67, in the championship game to earn an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Bridgestone Arena (originally Nashville Arena, and formerly Gaylord Entertainment Center and Sommet Center) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Completed in 1996, it is the home of the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League. Ownership Designed by HOK Sport (now Populous) in conjunction with the Nashville-based architecture/engineering firm Hart Freeland Roberts, INC., it was designed at an angle on the corner of Broadway and 5th Avenue in Nashville in physical homage to the historic Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry.
