2024 Nepal Tri-Nation Series (round 1)
The 2024 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the first round of the 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament took place in Nepal in February 2024. The tri-nation series was contested by the men's national teams of Namibia, Nepal and Netherlands. The matches were played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. Following the ODI series, the three sides played a Twenty20 International (T20I) tri-nation series. The Netherlands defeated Nepal in the final by 4 wickets. League 2 series Squads Nepal also named Pratis GC, Dev Khanal, Anil Sah and Bibek Yadav as reserves for the series. Before the start of the series, Rijan Dhakal and Arjun Saud were replaced in the Nepal squad by reserves Dev Khanal and Anil Sah. The captain of a cricket team, often referred to as the skipper, is the appointed leader, having several additional roles and responsibilities over and above those of the other players. Bernard Scholtz
Bernard Martinus Scholtz (born 3 October 1990) is a Namibian cricketer. Born in Keetmanshoop, he is a right-handed batsman and a slow left-arm bowler. His brother, Nicolaas, four years his senior, has played first-class cricket since 2004. Biography Scholtz played for the Namibia under-19 national team at the 2008 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Malaysia. He made five appearances during the competition proper, taking six wickets. He scored just two runs, but remained not out on every occasion. Scholtz made his first-class debut in October 2008 against North West, scoring a second-ball duck in his debut innings. Tangeni Lungameni (born 17 April 1992) is a Namibian international cricketer who made his debut for the Namibian national team in January 2016. He is a left-arm pace bowler. Michael Van Lingen
Michael van Lingen (born 24 October 1997) is a Namibian cricketer. In January 2016, he was named in Namibia's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was one of the most successful bowlers at the tournament, and was also praised during Namibia's surprise victory over South Africa when he walked after being caught behind despite the umpire not giving him out. Jean-Pierre Kotze (born 23 April 1994) is a Namibian cricketer. He is a left-handed wicket-keeper and batsman. Kotze was part of Namibia's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament and for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. Namibia finished in the top four places in the tournament, therefore gaining One Day International (ODI) status. Kotze made his ODI debut on 27 April 2019, against Oman, in the tournament's final. Jan Nicolaas Frylinck (born 6 April 1994) is a South African-born Namibian cricketer who currently plays for Namibia national cricket team. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler. Frylinck made his first-class debut for Boland on 24 March 2011 against Western Province. Shaun Fouché (born 14 February 2000) is a Namibian cricketer, who is a right-handed batter. He finished his secondary education at Paarl Boys' High School.
