2024 Monza Formula 3 Round
The 2024 Monza Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held between 30 August and 1 September at the Monza Circuit. It was the final race of the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship and was held in support of the 2024 Italian Grand Prix. Leonardo Fornaroli was crowned 2024 Formula 3 Drivers' Champion after a last-lap-overtake on the final corner over Christian Mansell in the Feature Race. He became the first Italian driver to win the Formula 3 championship as well as the first champion to take the title without winning any race across the entire season. This weekend also marked the final one using the Dallara F3 2019 chassis, which debuted in the inaugural 2019 season. Starting in 2025, a new chassis will be introduced. Monza Circuit
The Monza Circuit ( it, Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, , National Automobile Racetrack of Monza) is a race track near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. Built in 1922, it was the world's third purpose-built motor racing circuit after Brooklands and Indianapolis and the oldest in mainland Europe. The circuit's biggest event is the Italian Grand Prix. With the exception of the 1980 running, the race has been hosted there since 1949. Built in the Royal Villa of Monza park in a woodland setting, the site has three tracks – the Grand Prix track, the Junior track, and a high speed oval track with steep bankings which was left unused for decades and had been decaying until it was restored in the 2010s. Campos Racing
Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers. Gené won the championship and García finished fifth, with Campos taking the teams title. Gené stepped up to Formula One in , and his place in the team was taken by karting driver Fernando Alonso. Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak ( th, ทัศนพล อินทรภูวศักดิ์, born 14 November 2005), also known as Tern Inthraphuvasak, is a Thai racing driver set to compete in the 2023 Eurocup-3 season, driving for Campos Racing. He is the son of GT racing driver Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak. José María Navalón Boya (born 13 April 2004), better known as Mari Boya, is a Spanish racing driver, who is set to race for MP Motorsport in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship. He previously competed in the Formula Regional European Championship during 2021 and 2022 and was the 2020 Spanish F4 vice-champion. Gabriele Minì (born 20 March 2005) is an Italian racing driver who is scheduled to race in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Hitech Grand Prix.
