2024 Michigan Elections
The 2024 Michigan elections were held on November 5, 2024. In addition to the 2024 United States presidential election, elections were held for all of the state's seats in the United States House of Representatives, the state's class 1 seat in the United States Senate, and for all the seats in the Michigan House of Representatives. Elections to various local offices were also held. Federal President of the United States United States Senate Incumbent Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow retired, leaving an open seat. Democratic nominee Elissa Slotkin, U.S Representative from Michigan's 7th Congressional District, won the race against the Republican nominee, former Congressman Mike Rogers by a margin of 0.34%, narrowly holding the seat for the Democratic Party. David Viviano
David Francis Viviano (born December 8, 1971) is a former justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, appointed by Governor Rick Snyder on February 27, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Justice Diane Hathaway. Prior to his appointment to the Michigan Supreme Court, Viviano was the Chief Judge of the Macomb County Circuit Court. Viviano defeated Deborah Thomas and Kerry L. Morgan in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 62.1 percent of the vote. Branch County, Michigan
Branch County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 44,862. The county seat is Coldwater. One of the " cabinet counties", it was named for John Branch, U.S. Secretary of the Navy under President Andrew Jackson. The county was founded in 1829, and was organized in 1833. The 2022 Michigan Attorney General election was held on November 8, 2022, to elect the Michigan Attorney General, Attorney General of the U.S. state, state of Michigan.
