2024 Men's T20 World Cup Americas Sub-regional Qualifier
The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Sub-regional Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup qualification, qualification process for the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup. It was hosted by Argentina in December 2024. The top three sides in the tournament advanced to the 2025 Men's T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final, regional final, where they will be joined by Canada national cricket team, Canada, who were given a bye after having participated in the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup, previous T20 World Cup. Squads Pre-tournament matches Argentina, Bermuda and Mexico played warm-up fixtures ahead of the tournament. ICC Americas
The ICC Americas is the International Cricket Council region responsible for administration of the sport of cricket in the Americas. It is a subordinate body to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The organisation currently has 17 members, located in Northern America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, and is responsible for the development, promotion and administration of the game in the above regions. ICC Americas oversees the regional qualification tournaments for the Cricket World Cup, the Women's Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, and the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Previously it ran the ICC Americas Championship as the premier international competition in the region. The World Cup itself has only been held in the region on a single occasion, when the 2007 World Cup was hosted by the West Indies.
