2024 Men's Rugby Sevens Final Olympic Qualification Tournament
The final qualification repechage tournament for men's rugby sevens at the 2024 Summer Olympics is held on 21–23 June 2024 at Stade Louis II in Monaco. Twelve men's teams are eligible to compete in the repechage tournament, being the second and third ranked teams from the six continental qualifiers. 2023 Africa Men's Sevens
The 2023 Africa Men's Sevens was the 13th edition of the Africa Men's Sevens, an annual African rugby sevens tournament. The qualifier event took place at the Labourdonnais Sports Grounds, Mauritius between 24 and 25 June 2023. The main event took place in Harare, Zimbabwe. The winner qualified for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, and the second and third placed teams qualified for the 2024 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament. In addition, the top two teams qualified for the 2024 Challenger Series. Papua New Guinea National Rugby Sevens Team
The Papua New Guinea national rugby sevens team competes in the Pacific Games, Commonwealth Games, Challenger Series and the Oceania Sevens. They finished third in 2009 and fourth in 2010, 2015 and 2016 in the Oceania Sevens. The team has also entered selected World Rugby Sevens Series tournaments as an invited team. The team has been invited to the New Zealand Sevens in 2000, 2001, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2018, and to the Australian Sevens in 2000, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2017 and 2018. The 2023 Oceania Sevens Championship was the fifteenth Oceania Sevens tournament in men's rugby sevens. It also served as the regional qualifier for the 2024 Paris Olympic Sevens and was held at Ballymore Stadium in Brisbane, Australia from 10 to 12 November.
