2024 Hezbollah Drone Strike On Binyamina
On 13 October 2024, a drone launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon launched a missile at the Israeli Defense Force Golani Brigade's Zar'it barracks near the town of Binyamina, Israel. The attack injured 58 military personnel, with at least 4 killed and 7 seriously injured according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) The attack, part of a larger rocket barrage, saw two drones deployed, with one intercepted over the sea while the other penetrated into Israeli territory. No alarms were triggered, and the IDF have said they are investigating the lack of warning signals. Medical teams airlifted several of the critically injured to Sheba and Rambam Medical Centers. On 8 October 2023, the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah fired guided rockets and artillery shells at Israeli positions in the disputed Shebaa Farms one day into the Israel–Hamas war. Iron Dome ( he, כִּפַּת בַּרְזֶל, Kippat Barzel) is a mobile all-weather air defense system developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries. 2024 Houthi Drone Attack On Israel
Yemeni Houthi militants performed a drone attack on Israel on 19 July 2024, hitting an apartment building near the US Embassy branch office in Tel Aviv, Israel's economic center in Ben Yehuda Street. The drone strike killed one person in his apartment building, and injured 10 others. The drone was spotted but not intercepted due to what Israel attributed to human error, with the Houthis asserting that they had developed a drone with the ability to evade the Iron Dome. On 10 October 2024, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out an airstrike in Bachoura in central Beirut, Lebanon, as part of the 2024 Israeli invasion of Lebanon. The airstrike in the densely populated neighborhood killed at least 22 Lebanese people and injured another 117.
