The 2024 Giro dell'Emilia was the 107th edition of the Giro dell'Emilia road cycling one day race, which was held on 5 October 2024 as part of the 2024 UCI ProSeries calendar. 2024 UCI ProSeries
The 2024 UCI ProSeries was the fifth season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road bicycle racing, road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The calendar consisted of 55 events, of which 33 are one-day races (1.Pro), and 22 are stage races (2.Pro). There were 49 events in Europe, five in Asia, and one in the United States. Lorenzo Fortunato (born 9 May 1996) is an Italian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Fortunato had his first professional win at the 2021 Giro d'Italia, which was also his first Grand Tour, when he soloed to win stage 14 atop the Monte Zoncolan after dropping Jan Tratnik 2.3 kilometers from the finish. Enric Mas Nicolau () (born 7 January 1995) is a Spanish racing cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . Mas is primarily a climber and general classification contender. He has found the most success at the Vuelta a España, where he won a stage in 2018, has finished second overall 3 times, and twice won the young riders classification. Wilco Kelderman (born 25 March 1991) is a Dutch professional road bicycle racer who rides for UCI WorldTeam . Roger Adrià Oliveras (born 18 April 1998) is a Spanish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . In August 2020, on stage 3 of the Vuelta a Burgos, Adrià was part of the stage's main breakaway of nine riders. Michael Russell Woods (born 12 October 1986) is a Canadian professional racing cyclist, who rides for UCI ProTeam . An accomplished runner as well, Woods was the first person to have both run a sub-four-minute mile and complete the Tour de France. Career Athletics career Woods' first sport was ice hockey and his childhood ambition was to play as a left wing for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
