2024 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship was the 17th edition of the competition. For the second year in a row, it was held in Hangzhou, China. Qualification Starting from 2024, the qualification for the Club World Championships will be as follows: two places per continent for Europe, Asia, and South America; one place for Africa; and finally, a club from the host nation will be granted a place. This change aims to ensure the fair representation from different continents and provides an opportunity for the host country to participate in the tournament. Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship
The AVC Women's Champions League, previously the AVC Cup Women's Club Tournament (between 1999 and 2002) and Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship (between 2004–2024), is an annual continental club volleyball competition organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in Thailand in 1999. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively. For a long time, the winner of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship qualifies for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. Starting in 2024, the restructured qualification now allows the two finalists to directly qualify in the world tournament. The 2024 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship was the 24th edition of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international women's volleyball club tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament took place in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 22 to 29 September 2024. The top two club team qualified for the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. Minas Tênis Clube (short, just ''Minas'') is a social, recreational and sports club from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. By 2013, it has more than 73,000 members.
