2024 CONCACAF U-20 Championship Squads
The 2024 CONCACAF U-20 Championship was an international Association football, football tournament held in Mexico from 19 July to 4 August 2024. The twelve participating national teams were required to register a squad of up to 21 players, of which three have to be goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. The tournament exclusively required players to be born between 1 January 2005 and 31 December 2009 to be eligible, that is, they must be a maximum of 19 years old and at least 16 years old by the end of the calendar year in which the competition is played. Each national team had to submit a provisional list of a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 60 players (five of which had to be goalkeepers) to CONCACAF no later than thirty days prior to the start of the tournament. 2024 CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The 2024 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship was the 8th edition of the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship (29th edition if all eras included), the men's under-20 international association football, football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It was held in Mexico from 18 July to 4 August 2024. The tournament featured a reduction in the number of participating teams following the format changes adopted by CONCACAF in February 2023. It was contested by 12 teams instead of the 20 that participated in previous editions. Same as previous editions, the tournament acted as the CONCACAF qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The top four teams of the tournament (the four semi-finalists) qualified for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile as the CONCACAF representatives. Pedro J. Soma (born June 30, 2006) is an American professional soccer player currently playing as a midfielder for Cornellà. Early life Soma was born in Boca Raton, Florida to a Brazilian mother and American father and was raised in nearby Coconut Creek.
