The 2024 Asian Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships were the 11th edition of the Asian Gymnastics Championships, Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 16 to 19 May 2024. Tashkent (), also known as Toshkent, is the Capital city, capital and List of cities in Uzbekistan, largest city of Uzbekistan. Abdulaziz Mirvaliev
Abdulaziz (; ; 8 February 18304 June 1876) was the sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 25 June 1861 to 30 May 1876, when he was overthrown in a government coup. He was a son of Sultan Mahmud II and succeeded his brother Abdulmejid I in 1861. Abdulaziz's reign began during the Ottoman Empire's resurgence following the Crimean War and two decades of the Tanzimat reforms, though it was still reliant on European capital. The decade after his accession was dominated by the duo of Fuad Pasha and Aali Pasha, who accelerated reorganization of the Empire. Ahmad Abu Al-Soud
Ahmad Abu Al-Soud (; born 5 July 1995) is a Jordanian artistic gymnast. He became the first gymnast from Jordan to medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships when he won the silver medal on pommel horse at the 2022 World Championships. He then won the bronze medal on the pommel horse at the 2023 World Championships. He is also the 2019 and 2022 Asian champion on the pommel horse. He represented Jordan at the 2024 Summer Olympics, the first gymnast from Jordan to do so. Career Abu Al-Soud began gymnastics when he was four years old. Nariman Kurbanov
Nariman Khusanjanuly Kurbanov (; born 6 December 1997) is a Kazakhstani artistic gymnast who is a pommel horse specialist. He is the 2024 Olympic silver medalist as well as the 2023 and 2024 Asian champion on the event. He is also the 2022 Asian Games bronze medalist on the pommel horse. Early life Kurbanov began gymnastics when he was five years old in Almaty. He has been coached by his father, Khussaanzhan, since 2004. Milad Karimi (; born 21 June 1999) is a Kazakh artistic gymnast. He represented Kazakhstan at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Carlos Edriel Poquiz Yulo (born February 16, 2000) is a Filipino artistic gymnast. Hur Woong (; born 18 December 1999) is a South Korean male artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. He was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2024 Asian Championships. He represented South Korea at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Early life Hur was born in Seoul in 1999. Gymnastics career In early 2024 Hur began competing at the World Cups in hopes of qualifying to the 2024 Olympic Games.
