2024 AVC Women's Challenge Cup
The 2024 AVC Women's Challenge Cup was the fifth edition of the AVC Women's Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and this year with the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF). The tournament was held at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila, Philippines between 22 and 29 May 2024. The winners of the tournament, Vietnam, qualified for the 2024 FIVB Women's Volleyball Challenger Cup. Vietnam won their second consecutive title after defeating Kazakhstan in a straight-sets final. The host Philippines defeated Australia in a straight-sets 3rd place match and took the bronze medal. Nguyễn Thị Bích Tuyền was named as the MVP of the tournament. 2024 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League
The 2024 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League was the sixth edition of the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament. The competition was held from 14 May to 23 June 2024 and the final round took place at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok, Thailand. Following the results of the 2023 Nations League and the 2023 Challenger Cup, Croatia were replaced by debutants France in this edition. Italy claimed their second VNL title after defeating Japan in a four-set final. Japan took the silver medal, which is their best result in this tournament. Poland retained the bronze medal after defeating Brazil in a five-set 3rd place match. Paola Egonu of Italy named as the MVP of the tournament. 2022 AVC Women's Challenge Cup
The 2022 AVC Women's Challenge Cup, in coincidence with the 21st Princess Cup Volleyball Championship, was the third edition of the AVC Women's Challenge Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), in that year with the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, from 24 to 29 June 2022. 2023 AVC Women's Challenge Cup
The 2023 AVC Women's Challenge Cup, also known as the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup for Women, was the fourth edition of the AVC Women's Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and in that year with the Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI). The tournament was held at Tridharma Sports Hall in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia, between 18 and 25 June 2023. The winner of the tournament, Vietnam, qualified for the 2023 FIVB Women's Volleyball Challenger Cup. Vietnam won their first title by defeating host Indonesia in a tie-break final. In team sports, a most valuable player award, abbreviated 'MVP award', is an honor typically bestowed upon an individual (or individuals, in the instance of a tie) whose individual performance is the greatest in an entire league, for a particular competition, or on a specific team. Australia Women's National Volleyball Team
The Australia women's national volleyball team, also known as Volleyball Team Australia Women (VTAW) or the Volleyroos, is the national volleyball team of the volleyball playing nation of Australia. As of January 2021, they are ranked 40th in the world. They are a member of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). The Philippines women's national volleyball team represents the Philippines in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Philippine National Volleyball Federation since 2021. Philippines' highest achievement was they qualified and competed in the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in 1974 edition, where they finished at 18th place.
