2024 AVC Men's Challenge Cup
The 2024 AVC Men's Challenge Cup was the fifth edition of the AVC Men's Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), in that year with the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA). The tournament was held at the Isa Bin Rashid Hall in Isa Town, Bahrain from 2 to 9 June 2024. The winners of the tournament, Qatar, qualified for the 2024 FIVB Men's Volleyball Challenger Cup. Qatar won their first title after defeating Pakistan in a straight-sets final. South Korea defeated Kazakhstan in a four-set 3rd place match and took the bronze medal. Renan Ribeiro was named as the MVP of the tournament. Host selection Bahrain and Australia submitted its bid to host the tournament by December 2023. Bahrain was awarded the hosting rights. Isa Town
Isa Town ( ar, مدينة عيسى, ''Madīnat ʿĪsā'') is a middle class town located in Bahrain, in the north central part of the country. Etymology The name ''Isa'' refers to Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifah, the ruler of Bahrain from 1961 to 1999. History Isa Town largely comprises affluent newly constructed villas, and is home to many members of Bahrain's educated middle classes. In 2002's election it was one of the few areas of Bahrain not to be entirely represented by an Islamist or right wing MP, with Abdnabi Salman of the formerly communist Democratic Bloc winning the seat. Pakistan Men's National Volleyball Team
The Pakistan men's national volleyball team represents Pakistan in international volleyball competitions. Pakistan Volleyball Federation was founded on 31 January 1955. Thereafter, volleyball was taken up at the national level. The Federation received recognition and was affiliated to the Pakistan Olympic Association and the International Volleyball Federation the same year. Pakistan had the honour of winning a bronze medal during the 1962 Asian Games at Jakarta where the matches were played outdoor. 2024 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League
The 2024 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League was the sixth edition of the FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League, an annual men's international volleyball tournament. The competition was held from 21 May to 30 June 2024, with the final round taking place at the Atlas Arena, Łódź, Poland. Following the results of the 2023 Nations League and the 2023 Challenger Cup, China were replaced by debutants Turkey in this edition. France won their second VNL title after a four-set match against Japan in the final. It was Japan's first silver medal in 47 years. Finals host Poland swept Slovenia in the third place match to bag their third bronze medal. Antoine Brizard from France was named the MVP of the tournament. 2023 AVC Men's Challenge Cup
The 2023 AVC Men's Challenge Cup, also known as the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup for Men, was the fourth edition of the AVC Men's Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), in that year with the Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association (CTVBA). The tournament was held in Taipei, Taiwan from 8 to 15 July 2023. The winners of the tournament qualified for the 2023 FIVB Men's Volleyball Challenger Cup. Thailand won their first title and earned the right to participate in 2023 Challenger Cup after defeating Bahrain in straight sets in the final.
