2024 ACB Playoffs
The 2024 ACB Playoffs, also known as 2024 Liga Endesa Playoffs for sponsorship reasons, were the postseason tournament of the ACB's 2023–24 season, which began on 23 September 2023. The playoffs started on May 15 and ended on June 12. Barça was the defending champion, but was eliminated in the semifinals after a 0–3 sweep by Real Madrid in a rematch of last year's finals, with ''Los Blancos'' winning a record-extending 37th title (15th in the ACB era) after another sweep against UCAM Murcia in the finals series. Format At the end of the regular season, the eight teams with the most wins qualify for the playoffs. The seedings are based on each team's record. The bracket is fixed; there is no reseeding. Tyler Kalinoski
Tyler Kenneth Kalinoski (born December 19, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Unicaja of the Spanish Liga ACB. Kalinoski was a McDonald's All-American nominee as a senior at Olathe East High School in Kansas and completed his college career for the Davidson Wildcats. He was named Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year in 2015. High school career Kalinoski competed for Olathe East High School under coach Jim Super. He was named to the first-team All-Sunflower League in 2010 and 2011. As a senior, he averaged 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 2.2 steals per game, leading the team in all statistical categories. Manresa
Manresa () is the capital of Bages county, located in the central region of Catalonia, Spain. Crossed by the river Cardener, it is an industrial area with textile, metallurgical, and glass industries. The houses of Manresa are arranged around the basilica of Santa Maria de la Seu. Saint Ignatius of Loyola stopped to pray in the town on his way back from Montserrat in 1522. He also read in solitude in a cave near the town for a year, which contributed to the formulation of his Spiritual Exercises. As such, the town is a place of pilgrimage for Catholics. Tyson Gregory Carter (born January 14, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for Unicaja of the Liga ACB. He played college basketball for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. High school career Carter played basketball for Starkville High School in Starkville, Mississippi, where his father served as the head coach. As a junior, he averaged 17 points and five assists per game, leading his team to the Class 6A state championship. Yankuba Sima Fatty (born 28 July 1996), is a Gambian-Spanish professional basketball player for Valencia Basket of the Liga ACB and EuroLeague.
